The Le Batiment has very comfortable apartments/rooms, is friendly managed and has excellent relation between services and fees. Its localization is key and allows to move around the city in any directions by taxi or on foot very easy. A very good option for families.

Some of the staff members were very kind. We had a mix up in our reservation and had booked through only the day before we were to leave Buenos Aires. We got woken up by reception telling us we needed to leave our room. In the panic of realizing we had made an error in our reservation (and the hotel stating that it was full for that night and couldn't let us stay on another night), the hotel staff was very helpful. They booked us a similar-priced hotel nearby and called for a taxi to take us. We also left later than normal check-out time, but they waived the additional fee they normally charge because they saw we had made a genuine mistake. The room is clean, the location is good, and there is a computer with internet you can use for free. We are very near Cordoba and Santa Fe, two major shopping and entertainment streets. The front desk was very willing to give us additional toilet paper, even though normally they don't provide more supplies than those originally put in the room.
We had a huge problem with one of the staff members (the night man) who was very grumpy about our requests, such as adjusting the temperature of our room (which we aren't allowed to do; we are explicitly told to contact reception about this). Then, the night before our last full day in Buenos Aires, we came home at about 10:30pm and asked to use the internet. There is a type of usb key that attaches to the computer you have to ask for. The guy said it had been stolen but they would surely have found it by the morning. We got the sense that he was just making things difficult for us. We also asked for a 9am wake-up call. The wake-up call never came and we were woken up around 11am by other reception staff telling us we had to vacate our room (see above). We had planned to go to Colonia del Sacramento that day, but because we didn't get the wake-up call (and the ensuing madness of switching hotels), we missed the ferry and had to cancel our plans. You are only provided with one set of towels for your stay. This was fine for me, but my mom would have preferred more.

Having a studio apartment to ourselves made me feel like I was in a nice hotel for the price of a hostel. I was very happy being there and would absolutely recommend that others stay.
We asked for a room with a balcony and the balcony didn't actually allow you to come and stand on it, it was more of a Juliet balcony that ran across the window.

The location was convenient, just a short walk to Recoleta, with comfortable beds and a nearby restaurant, Jetro, that was worth visiting.

A great apartment in a beautiful part of the city! A great value through Booked.net. Also, an English-speaking staff that are very helpful and very friendly.
No free breakfast (although the $6 breakfast isn´t that bad), and while in a nice area, expect to walk or subway to see any of the attractions.
